According to reports, the admit cards for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE) 2014 conducted by The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad are released by the institute. The scheduled date for PGEE 2014 is April 13 and the aspirants can download their admit cards from the institute official website link by entering their Application Number and Identification Code.

The PGEE 2014 will be conducted at 7 exam centres across the country, this includes Bangalore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhopal and Guwahati. This entrance test is conducted at national level for admissions into M.Tech, M.S by research and other PhD courses. The shortlisted candidates from the test will face an interview before final selection for the respective courses are done.
The exam will be in two paper pattern i.e., paper-1 and paper-2. Time duration for Paper-1 will be for 90 minutes and it will test the General Aptitude of the candidate. It consist of objective type questions covering the topics like basic aptitude, logical reasoning, basic questions on computers and mathematics. One thing to note here is that only candidates securing qualifying marks in the Paper-1 will get their Paper II answer sheets checked. For Paper-2, candidates can select any one of the subject from six options available i.e., Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering (Objective and Subjective), Computational Natural Sciences and Bioinformatics, Structural Engineering (Subjective) and Computational Linguistics. There will be no negative marking in the exam.
